Thank You, Chatham-Kent!

There is nothing quite like a classic backyard BBQ to bring people together, and this past Saturday was no exception. Joanne and I were absolutely thrilled to open up our home at 117 Victoria Avenue to welcome about fifty of our incredible early campaign supporters, neighbors, and friends.

The grill was hot, the refreshments were cold, and the pool was definitely the place to be for the kids! But beyond the hotdogs and sunshine, what made the afternoon truly special was the conversation.

Seeing so many of our campaign lawn signs already popping up across the community is incredibly humbling. To everyone who took the time out of their busy weekend to stop by, chat about the future of Chatham-Kent, and share your ideas for a more transparent, fiscally responsible local government—thank you. This campaign isn't built on big corporate interests or backroom political deals; it’s built right here in our backyards, driven by everyday taxpayers who want a common-sense approach to our municipality. We are just getting started, and with grassroots support like this, I know we can bring real balance back to the Mayor’s office this October.

If you couldn't make it out this weekend but want to get involved, host a lawn sign, or share your thoughts, please drop us a line at bondyin2026@gmail.com.

Thanks for standing with us, Chatham-Kent!

— Michael Bondy Candidate for Mayor
